This policy explains what the “Melogram” app collects, why, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to it.

1. Information we collect

• Account: email and password (stored hashed); with Google Sign-In: name, email and profile picture from your Google account.
• Profile: display name, avatar, short bio and social links you enter.
• Content you create: posts (title, text, images, file attachments), comments, replies, ratings and reactions. This content is visible to other users.
• Safety: reports you submit and the list of users you block.
• Device: a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and per-file download counts.
• Ads and analytics: Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics may collect an advertising ID, device information and app usage. Where required by law, we ask for your consent first using Google’s consent form (UMP).
• On your device only: download history and search history are stored locally and are not sent to our server.

2. How we use it

To create and manage your account, show content, send notifications, prevent abuse and spam, review reports, show ads, and improve the app.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. It is shared only with the service providers we need: our server (accounts, posts and files) and Google (Sign-In, Firebase, AdMob, Google Play). Your public content (profile, posts, comments) is visible to other users.

4. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account in the app (Profile → ⋮ menu → Delete account) or via the account deletion page. Deletion removes your profile, posts, comments, ratings, reactions, reports and uploaded files, except where the law requires us to keep something.

5. Security

Traffic to our server uses HTTPS and data access is restricted with row-level security. No system is perfectly secure, but we use standard safeguards.

6. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your data. You can edit your profile and delete your account in the app; for other requests, email us.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
